I received an undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and Master's in counseling degree (marriage and family therapy)from SDSU as well. I pride myself in coming from a social justice oriented program dedicated to letting the client take the lead in sessions.
I am a LMFT providing in-person child, teen and family therapy in San Diego. I am a dedicated therapist with 10 years of experience for BIPOC, AAPI children, teens and parents alike. Having lived experience with being a second generation Asian American I can provide a relatable perspective with parenting issues, acculturating difficulties, unawareness of mental health and generational trauma.
I am passionate about working with children and adolescents. I am also passionate about being a neurodiverse affirming and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist.I am up to date with the latest kid/teen trends. I can relate to adolescent boys through common interests such as video games, anime, marvel characters. I can also relate to girls as I am a girl dad myself through crafts, Disney characters and influencers.
